Marlucy Alves Paraíso is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Education at UFMG and in the Graduate Program in Education: Knowledge and Social Inclusion at UFMG. She is the founder and coordinator of GECC: Research Group on Curricula, Cultures and Difference, and a CNPq Research Productivity Fellow. She currently coordinates the research line on Curricula, Cultures and Difference within the Graduate Program in Education and serves as Vice President of RIRORPRACES: International Network for Teacher Education, Curricular Practices and Supervised Internship (2024–2028 term).
