Tier 1: participants affiliated to institutes or independent scholar holding passports by country / economy with GDP per capita over USD 25,000.

Tier 2: participants affiliated to institutes or independent scholar holding passports by country / economy with GDP per capita between USD 10,000 and USD 25,000.

Tier 3: participants affiliated with Brazilian institutions, participants affiliated to institutes or independent scholar holding passports by country / economy with GDP per capita under USD 10,000.

Conference participants (researchers and professionals) who are members of the Association for Cultural Studies (ACS) will be entitled to reduced conference fees. The Association for Cultural Studies (ACS) is a cross-continental non-profit academic organization. It aims at forming and promoting an effective worldwide community of cultural studies and acts as a tool for building strong interdisciplinary and transnational connections by offering meaningful meeting places for the great diversity of committed scholars in this field. Among its activities, the ACS co-organizes international academic events such as the Crossroads in Cultural Studies conference and the ACS Institute, which serve to bring scholars together to engage with the past, present and future of cultural studies scholarship.
