Marcela País Andrade is a sociologist and holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Buenos Aires. She is an independent researcher at CONICET, based at the Institute of Anthropological Sciences (UBA). She teaches Anthropology in the Social Work program at the Faculty of Social Sciences (UBA) and is a postgraduate professor at various universities in Latin America. She has completed postdoctoral fellowships in Argentina and Spain and has taught courses and seminars at universities in Bolivia, Mexico, Spain, and France. She currently serves as the Latin American representative for the Association for Cultural Studies.
