Philosopher, essayist, university professor and curator. He was President of the International Association of Art Critics – Portugal. He is a member of the Culture Experts Group of the Organization of Ibero-American States and of the Board of Directors of the Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation. Since 2019, he has been Commissioner of the National Arts Plan of Portugal.
